Andrey Knyazev, also known as KnyaZz, is an outstanding representative of the Russian rock scene. He became not only the creator of the successful solo project “PrinceZz”, but also the co-founder of the legendary group “King and Jester”. In 1988, in Leningrad, Knyazev met Mikhail Gorshenev and joined his group “Kontora”. It was from this moment that a new era began in Russian rock music: the group’s songs acquired a fairy-tale and fantasy character, enriched with powerful punk arrangements. Soon the team changed its name to “The King and the Jester” and became one of the most popular punk rock bands in Russia.

The first album of "The King and the Jester" came out in 1996 and set off a decade of success. In the mid-2000s, Knyazev released a solo album, “Love of a Scoundrel,” but continued to remain part of the group. In 2011, the first album of the project “KnyaZz” was released. — “Letter from Transylvania”, which secured his status as an independent artist. On the tour in support of the album, Knyazev performed both new compositions and classic hits of “The King and the Jester”. After the end of the tour, Knyazev officially left “KiSh” and completely focused on his solo career.
