FC Orenburg

Football club Orenburg is not just a team, but a real pride of the city of the same name, founded on January 1, 1976. During its history, the club has come a long way, starting from the name Gazovic and up to today, when it confidently plays in the Russian championship. In the 2022/23 season, Orenburg demonstrated impressive results, winning big victories over such teams as Ural (3:0), Fakel (4:1), Sochi (4:1 and 4:0), Dynamo (3:0) and Krasnodar (5:1). The team also beat Moscow Spartak (2:0) and drew with Zenit (2:2), which was the first point scored in matches with this club.

Throughout its history, FC Orenburg has won numerous titles and awards, including victories and prizes in the Football National League (FNL) and the Professional Football League (PFL). The team has won the FNL twice (2015/16, 2017/18) and the PFL (Ural-Povolzhye zone) twice (2010, 2012/13), and also won silver and bronze in these leagues. A special achievement is the semi-final of the Russian Cup in the 2014/15 season and victory in the FNL Cup in 2016.
