Philip Khmyrov — a bright and original musician whose works become real hits. Born into a creative family of a librarian and jazz record collector, he was surrounded by music from childhood. At the age of 11, Philip composed songs in the style of the Kino group, dreaming of becoming a musician, but was afraid of his parents’ condemnation. Despite this, his passion for music did not fade.
Although Khmyrov studied to become an accountant, in 2015 he heard Scryptonite’s album “House with Normal Phenomena,” which became a source of inspiration for him. Philip began writing arrangements and posting them on VKontakte. The first listeners came from Fast Food Music and other public sites, where he was noticed by representatives of the Snegiri label.
Philipp Khmyrov writes, records, mixes and masters his tracks himself, emphasizing: “I hate it when someone else gets their hands on my sound.” The influence of Viktor Tsoi and the Kino group noticeable in his style.
