Alexey Vertkov is a talented Russian actor whose career began in Novosibirsk. Born on March 31, 1982, he showed an interest in theatrical art from an early age. Studying at the Novosibirsk Theatre School was the first step towards success, which led him to participate in performances of the city Drama Theatre under the direction of S. Afanasyev.
In 2005, Vertkov graduated from the directing department of GITIS, where he studied in the workshop of Sergei Zhenovach. This education allowed him to not only develop his acting skills, but also deepen his understanding of directing, which became an important aspect of his career. Since then, he has become an integral part of the Studio of Theatre Arts (STI), where his talent and dedication were recognized with the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation in 2018.
