Aria

History of the group "Aria" - this is not just a story about its formation, it is the history of the emergence and development of the entire heavy metal culture. Founded in 1985, the group consisted of Wekshtein (artistic director), Kholstinin, Granovsky and Kipelov as vocalist. Later they were joined by Pokrovsky on keys and Lvov on drums, who soon became a sound engineer.

Album "Megalomania" is considered the starting point in the history of the Aria group. Their first concert took place on February 5, 1986. During the first year of activity, the group took part in several festivals, such as “Rock Panorama-86” and "Lituanika-86", where they attracted the attention of the whole country.

Having slightly changed its composition, the group "Aria" began work on the next album, “Asphalt Hero,” which was released in 1987 and allowed them to begin a series of long tours. Then, after a short break in 1990, the album “Blood for Blood” was released.

In 1994, in the history of the group “Aria” An important event occurred - the ARIA Records studio was founded. At the same time, the group released the albums “Made in Russia” and “Made in Russia” and "Evil Generator". However, a real wave of popularity hit the group after the songs “Lost Paradise” and the album “Chimera”, which occupied leading positions on the radio.

In 2016, the group "Aria" received the honor of performing in the Kremlin at a concert in honor of Cosmonautics Day. Currently, the musicians continue to work on creating new compositions to delight their loyal fans.
