Give me the tank

Description

Give a Tank (!) is a musical collective from the Moscow Region town of Kolomna, performing music in the style of garage rock, punk rock, indie rock, reggae rock and alternative rock.

The band was founded in 2007 by vocalist Dmitry Mozzhukhin and guitarist Alexander Romankin. Also today the band consists of Maxim "Pseudonym" Kulsha, Sergey "Raen" Akimov, Alexander Timofeev and Ilya Gerasimenko.

Until 2011, the name of the band sounded like Give Us A Tank (!). An interesting fact is that this name came from a famous cheat code from the popular video game GTA 3. To facilitate perception, the name was translated into Russian.

Members of the collective. Give tank (!) characterize the style of their music as shy-punk or "timid punk", which to a certain extent is sarcasm, because punk music is by definition a rather defiant, rebellious event.

To date, the collective has more than ten studio albums to their credit, including "Time to Collect Rubble", "The Album That Doesn't Count", "Universamka", "Save As" and others. An interesting fact is that the last EP "For Growing Up" was recorded on a toy synthesizer.
