He is one of the founders of the cult group "Billy's Band", where he acts as the author of the music and lyrics of most of the songs. A jack of all trades, Billy is proficient on upright bass, piano, drums, harmonica, banjo, upright bass and guitar.
Billy Novik is also known for his work on the Russification of jazz and the creation of domestic jazz standards.
