Scryptonite, whose real name is Adil Zhalelov, was born on June 3, 1990 in the village of Leninsky, not far from Pavlodar. Despite the lack of special musical education, he became one of the brightest stars of Russian rap. Inspired by the work of such artists as Decl, Eminem, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre, Scriptonite began making beats and writing lyrics at the age of 15. At the age of 16, he first appeared on stage, and in 2009 he founded the group JILLZAY, which quickly gained popularity in Kazakhstan.
Although his father dreamed of seeing him as an architect, Adil did not graduate from Pavlodar College, where he studied design. Instead, he focused on music. In 2013, Scryptonite released the video «VBVVCTND», which instantly went viral and led him to collaborate with the «Gazgolder» label. His tracks such as «Not Welcome», «Yours», «Curls», «Space», «5 here, 5 there» and «Your bitch» became hits.
In 2015, Scryptonite released his debut album, «House with Normal Phenomena,» which was recognized as the best release of the year. In subsequent years, he continued to delight fans with new projects, including the albums «718 Jungle» and "Open Season" with the group JILLZAY, as well as the double album «Ouroboros».
In 2018, Skryptonite launched the Gruppa Skryptonite project, and in 2019 he founded his own label Musica36 along with 104, Truver and Dose. His work continues to win the hearts of listeners, and his concerts attract full houses.
