November 22: Ilya Sobolev on the stage of the ARENA
Ilya Sobolev returns with a new show, where his signature style takes on a fresh twist and is filled with new jokes. He's ready to give the residents and visitors of St. Petersburg another dose of his unique, slightly crazy, and absurd brand of humor.
As a former member of the trio "Ivanov. Smirnov. Sobolev" at Comedy Club, and having participated in projects such as "Laughter Without Rules," "Slaughter League," and "Comedy Battle," and hosted the shows "Prozharka" and "May I Have Your Phone," Ilya Sobolev has left a noticeable mark on the world of Russian humor. He also co-hosted Pavel Volya's original project. This is just a small part of what Sobolev has contributed to the comedy scene.
Ilya stands out among other stand-up comedians for his ability to improvise, his slight madness, and his jokes that teeter on the edge of the absurd. He explores topics that resonate with us all, finding humor in the mundane and revealing new sides to familiar things. Sobolev's live performances are very different from his on-screen persona. On stage, he allows himself to be more relaxed: he swaggers, has fun, and draws the audience into his performance. If you haven't seen him in concert yet, now is the time to do so! His fall tour will conclude with a show in St. Petersburg. Hurry to get tickets to see Ilya Sobolev's stand-up comedy while they're still available!
