Mikhail Shufutinsky at Lakhta Hall: an autumn evening in chanson style!

Mikhail Shufutinsky is a living legend of the Russian music scene. His musical journey began in his teens, when he joined jazz bands performing in Moscow cafes. After graduating with honors from the Ippolitov-Ivanov Moscow College of Music (now an institute), he quickly rose through the ranks: from an accompanist at Mosconcert to the head of the famous Leisya, Pesnya ensemble in 1975. These years became the foundation for his unique style, which combines elements of blues, jazz, urban romance and truly Russian chanson.

The title of "King of Chanson", bestowed upon him by his fans, speaks for itself. He has 28 solo albums, numerous compilations and soundtracks for popular Russian TV series and even Hollywood films, such as Moscow on the Hudson, Red Heat and How to Steal a Skyscraper. His voice became a symbol of the era and found a response from millions of listeners. And even today, being at the top of his career, Shufutinsky continues to delight fans with his music.

A Mikhail Shufutinsky concert is a carefully crafted performance, where an atmosphere of complete creative unity reigns. His performances are not just a solo concert, but a harmonious interaction of talents. Together with him on stage, his permanent team of musicians, backing vocalists and dancers performs. Many of them have been collaborating with him for decades! These are not just invited artists - they are true comrades and like-minded people, each of whom plays their own unique role in the overall show. Their synergy creates that very unique atmosphere of warmth and professionalism that captivates the audience.

On stage, Shufutinsky does not look like an unattainable star; he is rather a wise storyteller. He easily enters into a dialogue with the audience, jokes and shares stories through his songs. The audience becomes an active participant in this action: they don't just listen – they experience each song together with the artist, singing along and empathizing with him. Tickets for Mikhail Shufutinsky's concert at Lakhta Hall can be purchased on our website.
