In early December, a long-awaited event will take place in Bahrain - a concert by the legendary band Metallica

The performance will take place on December 3, 2025 at the Al Dana Amphitheater and will be part of the M72 World Tour dedicated to the album 72 Seasons.

Metallica is not just a musical group, but a true cultural icon that has had a significant influence on the development of heavy music and won the hearts of millions of fans around the world. The band brought heavy rock back into popularity and turned it into a leading force in the music market. The history of the band began in 1981 in Los Angeles, when James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich, inspired by the British new wave of heavy metal, decided to join forces. After Ulrich posted an ad looking for musicians, a meeting took place that marked the beginning of the path to fame. They were soon joined by guitarist Dave Mustaine, whose aggressive style contributed to the formation of the band's unique sound. Then bassist Ron McGovney arrived, and the band began to actively perform in Los Angeles clubs, gaining a reputation for powerful live performances.

However, in 1983, the lineup of the band changed: due to disagreements and alcohol problems, Dave Mustaine left the band. He was replaced by Kirk Hammett from the band Exodus, who added melody and technique to Metallica's playing. The move to San Francisco was an important step for the band: here they met the talented bassist Cliff Burton, who brought elements of progressive rock and jazz.

With the arrival of Hammett and Burton, the classic lineup of the band was formed, which many consider to be the golden period of Metallica. Despite commercial success, the band has always strived for musical innovation and pushing the boundaries of the genre. Their early works "Ride the Lightning" and "Master of Puppets" became the foundation of thrash metal.
