On August 24, 2025, a special evening dedicated to the legendary group Ivanushki International will take place in the New Wave Hall as part of the third competition day of the New Wave festival

In 2025, the Ivanushki International group will celebrate 30 years since its foundation. In honor of this event, the evening concert at the New Wave will be dedicated to their work. The New Wave festival is not just a competition venue, but a vibrant music forum that brings together talented performers from all over the world. Its goal is to discover new stars and give them the opportunity to make a name for themselves on the big stage. This is the place where new musical trends and directions are born. This year, the festival moved from Sochi to Kazan. A new concert hall, the New Wave Hall, designed for 2,800 spectators, will be built especially for the event next to the Kazan Family Center.

The third day of the competition is always full of dynamics and anticipation. Participants present their original compositions, striving to demonstrate not only their vocal abilities, but also their ability to create a spectacular show and establish contact with the audience. The jury is becoming increasingly strict in its assessments, because victory and the opportunity to open the doors to the world of big show business are at stake. The evening promises to be unforgettable thanks to the tribute concert in honor of the legendary Ivanushki International. Popular artists will perform their hits in new interpretations. This will not be just a concert - it will be a journey through time, filled with nostalgia and bright emotions. The tribute will be a tribute to the group, which has been delighting fans with its fiery hits for three decades. Spectators will be able to sing along to their favorite songs and enjoy the performances of modern performers together with the Ivanushki themselves.

The Ivanushki International group, which became a phenomenon of Russian pop music in the nineties, was created in 1995 by producer Igor Matvienko. He caught the trend for youth groups and created a project for teenagers and young women. The original line-up included Igor Sorin, Andrey Grigoriev-Appolonov and Kirill Andreev. Their debut album, Of Course He, released in 1996, instantly brought the band wide popularity thanks to such hits as Clouds and Golden Clouds. The success was ensured not only by the melodic songs, but also by the carefully thought-out image of the members: the charismatic Andrey Grigoriev-Appolonov, the romantic Igor Sorin and the athletic Kirill Andreev. The tragic death of Igor Sorin in 1998 was a heavy blow to the band and its fans. He was replaced by Oleg Yakovlev, who successfully joined the team. The group continued to release albums and tour the country, confirming its status as one of the leading boy bands in Russia.

Tickets for the tribute concert of the group "Ivanushki International" as part of the third day of the "New Wave" festival are now available on our website.
