Leonid Agutin to perform in Sochi in early August

Leonid Agutin, appearing on stage without shoes, initially shocked the audience, but quickly became a symbol of freedom of expression and rejection of stereotypes. This unusual step turned into his signature feature, emphasizing a close connection with music and a desire to share it without borders. After the release of his debut album, "Barefoot Boy," Agutin received the nickname "the main barefoot boy of the national stage," which has remained with him for half a century.

In search of musical growth, Leonid began collaborating with foreign artists. These joint projects not only expanded his audience, but also enriched his style with elements of Latin American and jazz music. He demonstrated that music knows no boundaries and cultural interaction can give birth to unique works. The song "Ella", performed in 2020 with Jon Secada, was warmly received by the public. Inspired by this composition, Alex Sino wrote English lyrics, and Jon Secada created a Spanish-language version. In 2021, Agutin released the single "Asi De Lento" with Luis Enrique, where the rap part was performed by Rayko B. Also worth noting is the 2016 collaboration with Cuban William Borges Hidalgo, who performed a Spanish-language version of the song "Dark Night", created by Agutin and Orlando Vaya.

Agutin has a long-standing friendship with multi-instrumentalist Al Di Meola from the United States. Together they recorded several songs and an album nominated for a Grammy Award. Their joint studio project "Cosmopolitan Life", released in 2005, marked the beginning of a series of performances at prestigious festivals in Montreux, Stuttgart and Montreal, as well as concerts in Moscow, Rome, Berlin and Jurmala. They also performed at the legendary Blue Note club in New York.

The album "Vse ne zarya", recently released in the mature period of Agutin's work, reflects his life reflections on love and loss, the value of every moment and faith in a better future. Each composition is a sincere revelation of the artist, full of depth of feelings. This album showed Agutin as a serious musician, capable of touching the soul of the listener. The main mood of the record is melancholic and a little tired, but with a wise view of the world. Despite the untypical mood of this kind for the artist, the public greeted the new collection with great warmth.
