The Vakhtangov Theatre hosted the production of "Eugene Onegin" by director Rimas Tuminas

An interesting solution by Jackovys - a huge mirror in the background of the stage at a slight angle - adds a magnetic effect, projecting the light and dark sides of the characters. The music of the waltz by Faustas Latenas enhances the atmosphere of the play with a melancholic mood.

The cast is impeccable: Sergei Makovetsky as the narrator Onegin acts as a wise and ironic observer of his youth; Viktor Dobronravov embodies the image of the young Onegin - a cold dandy who does not appreciate simple joys; Evgenia Kregzhde plays Tatyana - a gentle girl with deep feelings.
