The Leningrad group performed at the Erofey Arena.

The music scene has long missed the drive and satirical lyrics of Leningrad, generously seasoned with strong language, as well as the special atmosphere of unbridled fun that they create at their concerts. The group's return is a real holiday for all its fans, whom the two-year wait has only made more impatient. The charisma and provocative skill of Sergei Shnurov largely explain the group's success. Shnurov managed to create the image of a daring hooligan speaking the language of the streets, which found a response from a wide audience tired of the gloss of show business. The band's music is a unique cocktail of ska, punk, rock and folk motifs, creating a unique style. Shnurov masterfully mixes genres and adds witty lyrics with profanity and social commentary. This formula turned out to be so successful that the group quickly gained popularity not only in Russia, but also abroad. In addition, their scandalous image and provocations have always attracted the attention of the media and the public. Nevertheless, the St. Petersburg musicians touch upon important social topics, criticize the vices of society and make you think about the meaning of life. That is why Leningrad's work resonates with people of all ages and social classes.

Last year, Leningrad released two albums: "Blue Goddess" and "Boomers and Zoomers", the second of which was recorded together with Instasamka. The first album is dedicated to love in all its manifestations, and the second is a bold collaboration of two completely different musical phenomena. Instasamka teamed up with the legendary group to create an explosive mix that reflects the generation gap and cultural changes of our time. The album's title is associated with youth slang: boomers are people born in the 60s-80s, and zoomers are those born from the 1990s to the 2010s. Thus, Sergey Shnurov represents boomers, and Dasha represents zoomers. Instasamka stays true to her image and sings about the glamorous life and fleeting romances, while Leningrad talks about the zoomer reality from the point of view of experienced boomers. Without Instasamka, Sergey's harsh statements could sound offensive or sexist, but her participation turns the tracks into a triumph of self-irony. The contrast in the lyrics emphasizes the disunity of generations, but also shows their common features - the desire for self-expression and a rebellious spirit. Musically, the album is an eclectic mix of modern beats and the signature style of "Leningrad" ska-punk. Some songs are dominated by trap and pop sounds, while others feature brass instruments and the cheerful choral choruses of "Leningrad". This combination of styles may seem strange at first glance, but in the end, it creates a unique sound. "Boomers and Zoomers" is a witty commentary on modern society and generational differences. The album is full of controversial moments and provocations, but this is what makes it so appealing.
