Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain to face off in 2024/25 UEFA Champions League final

During the home match, the Parisians demonstrated an indomitable desire to win, imposing their attacking style of play on Mikel Arteta's team from the first minutes. Already in the 27th minute, PSG midfielder Fabian Ruiz opened the scoring. Later, Vitinho failed to convert a penalty, but Achraf Hakimi doubled his team's lead. Arsenal managed to respond only once thanks to a goal by Bukayo Saka in the 76th minute. PSG have goalkeeper Matvey Safonov on their roster, but he remains on the bench and will probably not take to the field in the final either.

Italian Inter, who are playing in the final for the seventh time and have previously won three times (in 1964, 1965 and 2010), will face PSG after successfully passing the semi-final against Barcelona. The first meeting ended in a draw, but the Italians confidently defeated their opponents in the second match. Lautaro Martinez scored the first goal in the 21st minute, and Hakan Calhanoglu increased the lead from the penalty spot. The Catalans responded with goals from Eric Garcia and Daniel Olmo, but Rafinha put the visitors ahead. Francesco Acerbi tied the score at 3:3, and Davide Fratesi brought victory to his team in overtime.
