Mannerism, with its deep interest in metaphor and self-reflection, will form the basis for this unusual performance.
The program is based on the story “Clone” by Julio Cortázar, dedicated to the music of Carlo Gesualdo da Venoz, a 16th-century composer known for his unique chromatic style and tragic fate. Gesualdo's music requires complete unity of all members of the ensemble, which poses difficult tasks for them. Cortazar's story, written in the genre of "magical realism", adds depth and intrigue to this musical event.
