Buy tickets for the play “Chekhov. Three sisters" means immersing yourself in the story of three sisters — Olga, Masha and Irina, who live in a provincial town and dream of life in Moscow. Their dreams of happiness and self-realization are faced with a harsh reality, where time becomes the main character, inexorably and mercilessly influencing their destinies.
The performance premiered in February 2023. The team working on the production treated Chekhov's text with great respect, adding elements of plastic theater. Denis Bokuradze focused on time as the main character, which either lasts forever or flies by unnoticed, bringing disappointments and hopes.
The actors masterfully convey the feeling of languor and hopelessness, communicating with the audience and reminding everyone: “This story is about you too!” Time — the most valuable thing every person has, and this performance makes you think about its meaning.
