Performance “Dirty. Muhajirs" is a new project of the Theater. G. Kamala, based on significant texts of Tatar culture. The action takes place at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, when the Tatar world was experiencing historical upheavals, such as the famine in the Volga region in the 1880s and the first general census of the Russian Empire in 1897. The authors of the production strive to find common ground with modern man, who, like centuries ago, is looking for happiness and meaning in life.
