In the clearing near Baba Yaga's hut, two trees rustle sadly, talking in human voices. These are the boys Fyodor and Yegorushka, whom the evil witch kidnapped and turned into young maples. However, the brave and hardworking Vasilisa rushes to help her children. She decides to hire herself as a worker for Baba Yaga to save her sons. The witch is cunning and cruel, but Vasilisa has loyal friends who will help her defeat the evil old woman and return the boys to their human form.
