The play "Every Day Is Different" at the Maly Theater is a rare work by Alexander Ostrovsky, which is coming to life on stage again after more than a hundred years. Alexander Korshunov's production takes the audience back to 1895, when the play was first presented under the title "Hard Days." The action unfolds over the course of one day, Monday, which in Russian culture is traditionally considered hard and full of superstitions.
On the stage of the Maly Theater, located in the center of Moscow, viewers will be able to watch the intriguing events unfolding around the tyrant merchant Tit Titych Bruskov. On Monday, after drinking too much alcohol, he starts a fight with a stranger who demands a huge sum as compensation - three hundred thousand rubles. The resourceful official Dosuzhev comes to the rescue, not only settles the conflict, but also arranges a marriage between Andrei Titych Bruskov and the merchant's daughter Sashenka Kruglova.
The Maly Theater is a unique venue where the classics meet the modern. Its halls are famous for their acoustics and atmosphere, which contributes to complete immersion in the plot. If you want to be a part of this story, we recommend buying tickets on our website.
