Jane Eyre in Moscow, Театр Оперетты

The musical “Jane Eyre” will soon be shown on the stage of the Moscow State Academic Operetta Theater in Moscow. This musical performance, divided into two acts, was created based on the famous novel by Charlotte Bronte "Jane Eyre". in libretto and poems by Karen Kavaleryan. The production will be directed by Alina Chevik.

The original literary work "Jane Eyre", written by Charlotte Brontë, was published in 1847. The novel has gained enormous and always relevant popularity and currently ranks tenth in the list of “200 best books” according to the BBC. The plot tells the story of an orphan from an orphanage whose strong character helped her overcome difficulties and find happiness next to her lover. For several centuries now, this story continues to amaze viewers and readers around the world with its insight and fascination.

Musical version of "Jane Eyre" was specially written for the Moscow Operetta troupe. and is the first production of a novel of this kind throughout Europe.
