Monte Cristo in Moscow, Operetta Theater

The Moscow State Academic Operetta Theater invites all lovers of the adventure genre to the play “Monte Cristo”, which is based on the novel “The Count of Monte Cristo” by the French writer and playwright Alexandre Dumas the Father, written by the author in 1844-1846 .

"The Count of Monte Cristo" – it is one of the most famous works on earth. And the fact that Alina Chevik managed to continue this tradition in Russia, on the theater stage and with practically young ensembles, speaks of the growing recognition of the professional merits of these actors at the world level. In confirmation of what has been said, it is worth adding that in 2014 this group was awarded the Grand Prix of the VIII International Festival of Musicals – DIMF, which took place in the metropolis of Daegu (Republic of Korea).

Premiere of the musical "Monte Cristo" took place on October 1, 2008 on the stage of the Moscow Operetta Theater.
