Dangerous Liaisons in Moscow, Mossovet Theatre

On the stage of the Moscow Mossovet Theater there is a performance based on the novel by Choderlos de Laclos “Dangerous Liaisons” directed by Pavel Chomsky.

At one time, de Laclos' novel became a real literary sensation. The main characters of the work, the Marquise de Merteuil and the Viscount de Valmont, imagine themselves as the mighty of this world, the rulers of other people's souls, who are allowed to seduce and corrupt the innocent. The next victims of dangerous companions in their machinations were Cecile, an aristocrat with a monastic upbringing, and Madame de Tourvel, the faithful wife of her husband.

Olga Kabo and Alexander Yatsko, playing the main characters in the play, subtly, accurately and psychologically play the roles of scoundrels. Because of this, the production attracts the attention of the audience from the first minutes of the story and does not let go until the end. Will pure, innocent souls survive or will they fall victims to ruthless scoundrels who plan to trample their souls?

The brilliant cast of artists and the non-trivial plot make you watch closely what is happening on stage with bated breath.
