The play “Sea Voyage 1933” at the Mossovet Theater - a unique theatrical variation on the theme of the famous film by S. Kramer “Ship of Fools”. The author of the play, Yuri Eremin, gathered representatives of different classes, nationalities and religions on board the theatrical ship. Here sail aristocrats and prostitutes, artists and the disabled, young and old, all united by a carefree lack of understanding that they are sailing towards their destiny in Germany in 1933, an important period in world history.
Eremin's production is a story about love, which the heroes are trying to grab, like a life preserver, against the backdrop of the magnificent sea elements, embodied on stage using computer graphics. Here hopes are born and destinies are destroyed, friendships are formed and conflicts flare up. Love and hate are the two strongest feelings that reign on this ship.
