VIP Classical - Cultural Music Circle in Dubai, Dubai Opera

In September, SAMIT Event Group is proud to present the concert “VIP Classical – Cultural Music Circle”, an innovative project that renews and reinterprets the popular VIP Classical series. On the evening of September 29, the Dubai Opera will host the first concert of the 2024-2025 season, organized with the support of the Italian Embassy in the United Arab Emirates. Three outstanding Italian maestros will take to the stage to give you an unforgettable evening of musical excellence.

Pianist Giuliano Mazzoccante, winner of the 40th International Piano Competition “Arcangelo Speranza” and winner of the prestigious “Prix Venice” and “Paul Harris Fellow” awards, will join violinist Riccardo Zamuner and cellist Ludovica Rana. Riccardo Zamuneru is the founder and first violinist of the ensemble "I Virtuosi di Sansevero" and the maestro concertmaster of the Orchestra of the Academy of Santa Sofia. Ludovica Rana, winner of the 30th Mario Benvenuti Competition and winner of the Virtuoso Grand Prix of the International Music Competition "Vienna", completes this stellar line-up.

The concert program will be rich and varied. The stage will feature works by Ludwig van Beethoven, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Arthur Mattli, Alexei Shor and Felix Mendelssohn. The evening will open with Beethoven's Trio in C minor, Op. 1 No. 3, followed by Rachmaninoff's Elegiac Trio No. 1 in G minor and Arthur Mattli's Kleine Erzählung (Mică poveste). After the intermission, you will enjoy 7 pieces for piano trio by Alexey Shor and Trio No.1 in D minor, Op.49 by Mendelssohn.
