Global Notes: National Youth Orchestra and Soloists in Dubai, Dubai Opera

The Global Notes concert series continues its stunning success on the Dubai Opera stage. The next significant event is the «Global Notes: National Youth Orchestra and Soloists» concert, which will take place on March 2, 2024 at the Dubai Opera.

This concert will feature stunning performances by talented musicians and the latest soloist winners of the 2024 National Youth Orchestra Recital Competition. The series of four musical pieces will take viewers on a unique sonic journey.

Talented violinist Alexandra Derkalustyan will perform Zigeunerweisen «Gypsy Tunes», Op. 20 from Sarasate. Rene Youssef, also a violinist, will amaze us with her powerful interpretation of «Meditation from Thaïs.» Massenet. Oscar Lucero Beschi, a virtuoso violinist, will perform Kreisler's Prelude and Allegro. And Sian Willgoss gives an unexpected sound to Vivaldi's opera, filling Presto from "Spring" with sounds of spring from all four seasons.

An important part of this amazing event is the National Youth Orchestra. On March 2, they will be led by Mr. Jonathan Barrett, a renowned conductor and composer from the UAE.
