The Ice Palace of Cherepovets is a modern sports and concert complex located in the center of Cherepovets. Since its opening in 2006, it has become a key venue for home matches of the Severstal and Almaz hockey teams, as well as various cultural and sports events. The complex has a capacity of 5,536 spectators, which allows it to accommodate a significant number of guests at each event.

Construction of the Ice Palace began in 2005 under the supervision of Skanska, a company known for its ice arena projects in St. Petersburg and Yaroslavl. The opening took place on November 4, 2006, on Cherepovets City Day. The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including Honored Master of Sports Vladislav Tretyak and Olympic figure skating champions Tatyana Navka and Roman Kostomarov.

The Ice Palace Arena hosted the first hockey match on November 15, 2006, in which the Severstal team defeated Sibir. The complex has an area of ​​13,690 m² and a height of 20.3 m, which makes it one of the largest sports venues in the region.
