Description

Adjarabet Arena, located in Batumi, Georgia, is a modern football stadium with a capacity of 20,383 spectators. The official opening took place on October 27, 2020, with the participation of Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia. The stadium was designed by the Turkish architectural firm Bahadır Kul Architecture and built at a cost of 100 million Georgian lari (35 million euros).

Adjarabet Arena is the home stadium of Dinamo Batumi and meets the requirements of the UEFA Category 4. Since 2021, it has also hosted matches of the Georgian national football team. In 2023, the stadium was one of the venues for the UEFA European Under-21 Championship, including the final match in which England defeated Spain.

The stadium's architecture, featuring panels in the form of overlapping scales, is inspired by traditional Georgian dances such as the Khorumi. These panels can be illuminated at night, creating a whirlpool effect.
