The Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix is ​​an interesting, difficult track in the historical part of Baku, a meeting with the best pilots of world motorsport, drive and adrenaline against the backdrop of beautiful architecture and picturesque nature.

In 2025, as part of the Formula 1 season, 20 Grand Prix will be held on specially built race tracks. Only 4 races of them will be held on city tracks in Saudi Arabia, Monaco, Azerbaijan and the United States of America. These unique tracks are the true gems of the championship. One of the oldest city tracks is located in Monte Carlo and has been hosting races since 1929, while the newest stage in Las Vegas debuted in 2023. Races on city tracks always arouse increased interest among spectators and drivers due to the difficulty of passing in urban conditions, which requires maximum tension and skill from drivers to win.

In 2023, Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc set a record for the best lap time on this track in Baku, and the driver Sergio Perez from the Red Bull Racing team has the most victories at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix so far.
